DIRECTIONAL CONTROL MAY BE LOST
Due to incorrect specified locknuts it is possible for the steering column universal joint clamp nut and bolt to loosen. This can result in a reduction of clamping force and subsequent detachment of the steering column universal joint which can result in loss of directional control.
Recall the affected vehicles to check and replace the subject nuts. If movement is detected between the joint and column the dealer will contact MAN UK for instruction on the course of rectification.
Contact the local ERF dealership or manufacturer. You will not need to pay for anything involving the recall.
The Recalled vehicles will have the fixing checked and corrected as necessary by and official ERF service.
