REAR "U" BOLT SECURITY
The rear axle "U" bolts on some vehicles have been secured with galvanised nuts resulting in incorrect tightening torque and in some cases fracture of the "U" bolts.
Recall the affected vehicles for replacement of the galvanised nuts with phosphated examples.
Contact the local SCANIA TRUCK dealership or manufacturer. You will not need to pay for anything involving the recall.
The Recalled vehicles will have the fixing checked and corrected as necessary by and official SCANIA TRUCK service.
