Reason for recall

It has been identified that a number of the subject tyres have experienced a torque-induced degradation in a body ply when fitted on the rear axle of Triumph Rocket III's (MY 09/09). This can result in the tyre inner liner cracking which can result in a slow loss of the inflation medium. the condition being communicated to the rider through vibration at moderate road speeds. The condition does not affect the front tyre.

Recalled machines will have the rear tyre replaced. Additionally the front tyre will also be replaced due to the tyre brand matching requirements of the machine.
