STEERING MAY FAIL
Steering coupling splines may strip on rack and pinion assembly resulting in a loss of steering control.
The owners have been notified of the recommendation not to use the subject vehicles. In the meantime consumers who must use their vehicles can contact BRP Can-Am side-by-side dealer and make an appointment to have their vehicles verified. This free verification is a temporary action to allow limited use of the vehicles until the availability of the free repair. When the free repair is in stock the owners will be invited to present their vehicles for rework.
Contact the local CAN-AM. dealership or manufacturer. You will not need to pay for anything involving the recall.
The Recalled vehicles will have the fixing checked and corrected as necessary by and official CAN-AM. service.
