STEERING COLUMN SPLINES MAY FAIL

Reason for recall

It is possible that the steering column may not have been correctly secured to the steering rack and pinion. This can cause the steering column splines to fail which will cause a loss of directional control.

Remedy

Recall all affected machines measure the tolerance between the lower portion of the steering shaft and the rack and pinion and if necessary replace the steering shaft or column.
