Reason for recall

Concentrated stress at the start of the threaded portion of the tracking link arm can cause metal fatigue which will result in a fatigue fracture. The issue can be identified during routine maintenance. However if the issue is not addressed then failure can occur and steering can fail although the vehicle can be stopped safely.

Remedy

All the affected machines will have their steering tracking link arm replaced with a new modified arm.
