Reason for recall

In very specific riding terrains and conditions i.e. vehicle driven in water (minimum of 310 mm 12 inches deep) containing an significant quantity of floating debris such as grass hay and leaves a significant accumulation of debris may accumulate in a short period of time in the exhaust area. This accumulation could lead to a vehicle fire when the exhaust pipe is hot and the debris are dried.

Remedy

Recall the machines that are likely to be affected to ascertain the usage and where necessary fit an additional grille. Additionally an addendum to the Owner's Manual will be included in both hard copy and to the on-line downloadable version which explains about the necessity to clean out the debris and how to reach the areas the debris needs cleaning from.
