Reason for recall

It has been identified that the possibility may exist that in error the driver may be able to select the sweep function whilst the vehicle is in second (top) gear. Should this occur due to the fact that in sweep mode four wheel steer is engaged vehicle stability could be compromised.

Remedy

As a preventative measure the manufacturer is to fit a security relay which will prevent the possibility of the sweep function being engaged whilst the vehicle is in second gear.

How the manufacturer will repair
