There is a possibility that the clutch housing may crack which could in the worst case lead to the gearbox falling out of the chassis.

Remedy

Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected to change the clutch housing to a cast type. If cracked housing are found it may also be necessary to also fit a new flywheel housing.
