Reason for concern

THE ECU MODULE CAN BECOME OVERLOADED AND MAY CAUSE THE FUEL PUMP RELAY TO REMAIN LIVE AFTER THE IGNITION SYSTEM IS TURNED OFF.

Reason for recall

The ECU module can become overloaded and may cause the fuel pump relay to remain live after the ignition system is turned off.

Remedy

Fit an electrical diode within the wiring harness and replace the ECU if required.
