THE ANNULUS GEAR MAY LOOSEN DURING OPERATION CAUSING ABNORMAL CONTACT BETWEEN THE GEAR AND HUB MOTOR.
On certain bikes the annulus gear a component of the wheel hub may loosen during operation causing abnormal contact between the gear and hub motor.
Inspect and verify that the correct tightening torque is applied to the annulus gear component in the front and rear wheel and replace the hub motor seals and bearings. If the torque is not found to be adequate the motor will be replaced.
Contact the local UBCO dealership or manufacturer. You will not need to pay for anything involving the recall.
The Recalled vehicles will have the fixing checked and corrected as necessary by and official UBCO service.
