THE FACTORY ECU PROGRAMMING MAY CAUSE THE ENGINE TO AFTER FIRE WHEN KAWASAKI QUICK SHIFTER IS USED UNDER HEAVY ENGINE LOAD
The factory Electronic Control Unit programming may cause the engine to after fire when Kawasaki Quick Shifter is used under heavy engine load.
Reprogram the ECU. Replace the reed valves in the air suction valve assemblies on used motorcycles and if necessary replace any parts that have been heat damaged as a result of after-fire occurring.
Contact the local KAWASAKI dealership or manufacturer. You will not need to pay for anything involving the recall.
The Recalled vehicles will have the fixing checked and corrected as necessary by and official KAWASAKI service.
