FOOT REST MAY DETACH
The circlips securing the passenger footrest pivot may be brittle due to a manufacturing error. This can cause the circlip to fail allowing the pivot pins to come out of position and the footrest to come off while riding creating the potential for an accident.
Replacement of circlips on both passenger footrests.
Contact the local KAWASAKI dealership or manufacturer. You will not need to pay for anything involving the recall.
The Recalled vehicles will have the fixing checked and corrected as necessary by and official KAWASAKI service.
