POTENTIAL LOSS OF STEERING CONTROL
It has been identified that the steering tie rod ends could separate during operation due either to wear or impact leading to loss of steering control. Prior to each and every ride Kawasaki strongly recommends that you inspect the tie rods according to the inspection procedure. If free play is found the machine should not be ridden until such time as a repair has been carried out. If no free play is found the machine should not be ridden in adverse or rough conditions and or with a heavy load. Should you feel incapable of carrying out the inspection your Kawasaki dealer should be contacted for advice.
Recalled machines will have the steering tie rods replaced with quality assured parts.
Contact the local KAWASAKI dealership or manufacturer. You will not need to pay for anything involving the recall.
The Recalled vehicles will have the fixing checked and corrected as necessary by and official KAWASAKI service.
