ABS FUNCTION MAY FAIL
There is a possibility of the ABS sensor cable sagging into a loop in the vicinity of the front brake left caliper following disassembly work i.e. a tyre change. This can result in the sensor cable chafing against the brake disc with the result that the ABS function can fail.
Recalled machines will be fitted with an additional sensor cable retaining clip.

The Recalled vehicles will have the fixing checked and corrected as necessary by and official BMW MOTORRAD service.
