Reason for concern

SPINDLE/TUBE ATTACHMENT FAILURE.

Reason for recall

Due to possible faulty welding the spindle carrying the wheel and hub assembly may detach from the axle tube.

Remedy

The axle manufacturer is carrying out ultrasonic and magnetic checks on all potentially affected axles at the premises of all identified end users. The complete axle will be replaced in all cases where the weld is found to be suspect.
