LOAD LOCKING DEVICE RELEASES WHEN EMERGENCY LINE BECOMES DETACHED

Reason for recall

The load carrying skip retaining devices will release should air pressure in the trailer emergency line be lost.

Remedy

Recalled vehicles will be retrofitted with a 3/2 valve which will retain the skip retaining devices in place should emergency air pressure be lost. Additionally whilst the vehicles are being modified the area in the vicinity of the sliding draw bar coupling will be inspected for fatigue or fractures.
