Reason for recall

The integrity and continuity of the welding on some units may not be to the manufacturers specification and could result in detachment of the fifth wheel.

Remedy

Vehicles fitted with affected units are being recalled to Big D York agents to have the subject welding inspected. Where this does not meet the manufacturers specification the slider base will be replaced with a new unit.
