In some operating conditions hot combustion gases can cause premature erosion of the central electrode. In extreme circumstances this may cause the engine to misfire and run rough. If this is not noticed by the rider/driver and they continue to use the vehicle it could cause the engine to cut out.

Remedy

Recall all affected spark plugs and replace them.
