Reason for recall

Misalignment of the welding torch during the assembly of a single manufacturing run of shock absorbers could lead to the affected units rod and eye attachments to fail. Failure could occur without warning causing the vehicle to lose its load carrying ability on the affected corner which may cause drivers to lose control of their vehicles and a potential crash may occur. Drivers should not drive these vehicles until the shock absorbers have been replaced.

Remedy

Replacement of the affected shock absorbers.
