The fuse in the high-voltage system of plug-in hybrid vehicles was partly produced with an insufficient amount of so-called fire extinguishing sand.
An additional protective insulating mat is to be fitted over the switch box of the high-voltage battery.
Contact the local SKODA dealership or manufacturer. You will not need to pay for anything involving the recall.
The Recalled vehicles will have the fixing checked and corrected as necessary by and official SKODA service.
