DRIVER'S AIRBAG MAY NOT DEPLOY AS INTENDED

Reason for recall

The driver's airbag inflator may rupture due to uncontrolled burning of propellant. As a consequence violent deployment of the airbag may cause injuries to occupants.

Remedy

On affected vehicles inspect and replace the driver's air bag where necessary.
