INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINE MAY NOT PERFORM AS EXPECTED
The Internal Combustion Engine may not operate correctly. DTC�s will be generated the engine-warning lamp will illuminate and the combination meter will display a message. In the worst case the internal combustion engine will fail to start and charge the main traction battery. If the warnings are ignored the main traction battery will become depleted and the vehicle will lose all drive.
Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected and apply countermeasure software to the ECU and replace the spark plugs with ones of approved specification.
Contact the local MITSUBISHI dealership or manufacturer. You will not need to pay for anything involving the recall.
The Recalled vehicles will have the fixing checked and corrected as necessary by and official MITSUBISHI service.
