LOSS OF BRAKING ASSISTANCE
It has been identified there is a possibility one of the nuts fixing the brake pedal to the brake booster may not have been tightened to the correct specification. This could result in the brake booster opening without warning and causing a sudden loss of brake assistance.
Recall all affected vehicles to check the torque setting of the nuts fixing the brake pedal to the brake booster. If found not to be within specification then the brake booster will be replaced and the new nuts will be tightened to the correct specification.
Contact the local TOYOTA dealership or manufacturer. You will not need to pay for anything involving the recall.
The Recalled vehicles will have the fixing checked and corrected as necessary by and official TOYOTA service.
