PARKING BRAKE MAY APPLY INADVERTENTLY

Reason for recall

During manufacturer of the manually operated parking brake valve some of the drillings were formed incorrectly. This concern may lead to cracks forming loss of air and the parking brake applying whilst the vehicle is in motion.

Remedy

Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected and check the make and date of manufacture. Where necessary replace the manually operated parking brake valve.

Contact the local MAN TRUCK dealership or manufacturer. You will not need to pay for anything involving the recall.

How the manufacturer will repair

The Recalled vehicles will have the fixing checked and corrected as necessary by and official MAN TRUCK service.
