Reason for recall

It is possible part of the wiring harness for the HDXi Dual Fuel system may become exposed to high temperatures produced by the vehicles high pressure compressed air system. If there is contact with the compressor pipe wiring harness protective sleeve damage will occur. However if there is prolonged contact this could result in a total failure of the harness or in extreme cases a vehicle fire.

Remedy

Recall affected vehicles to check harness and install a heat shield.
