There could be insufficient clearance between the rear tyres and the rear wheel arch fixing points. Damage could be caused to the rear tyres if they come into contact with the wheel arch fixing points which in extreme cases could lead to complete tyre failure.

Remedy

Assessment of the rear wheel arch fixing points and if necessary rework to provide adequate clearance of the wheel arch fixings.
