PARTIAL AXLE DETACHMENT

Reason for recall

During manufacture the strengthening gussets fitted to the rear axle tie bar mounting brackets were not fitted. If not corrected the rear axle will partially detach resulting in excessive movement of the rear axle and the tyres fouling the body.

Remedy

Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected to check and where necessary fit strengthening gussets to the rear axle tie bar mounting brackets and correct any damage that has occurred to the rear suspension as a result of not having the strengthening gussets fitted.
