Reason for recall

The steering column propshaft coupling may be connected too far beyond the toothing/splined section of the steering gear shaft. If ignored this has the potential to affect the directional control of the vehicle.

Remedy

Recall the affected vehicles and check for misalignment. If found replace steering shaft and check for damage on the steering gear shaft. Replace if damaged.
