Reason for concern

WINDSCREEN WIPERS MAY BECOME INEFFECTIVE

Reason for recall

It has been identified that under certain operating conditions the windscreen wipers may become inoperative. This can impair the driver's forward vision which may lead to a collision.

Remedy

Recalled vehicles will have the integrated power module (TIPM) part number inspected. Modules found with a part number which ends in AA through AL must have two external wiper relays installed. Additionally the TIPM software will be reprogrammed.

How the manufacturer will repair

The Recalled vehicles will have the fixing checked and corrected as necessary by and official CHRYSLER UK LTD service.
