POSSIBLE INADVERTENT OPENING OF THE ENGINE BONNET
It has been identified that the welds which secure the bonnet locking assembly may prove inadequate in use. This can result in difficulty closing the bonnet or failure of the lock to properly engage.
Recalled vehicles will have a strengthening component fitted to the bonnet lining to ensure that the trigger cable remains firmly secured to the bonnet. In very rare cases and only if necessary the bonnet will be replaced.
Contact the local PEUGEOT dealership or manufacturer. You will not need to pay for anything involving the recall.
The Recalled vehicles will have the fixing checked and corrected as necessary by and official PEUGEOT service.
