Reason for concern

THE CONTACTS IN THE CAB LOOM MAY OXIDIZE AND OVERHEAT POSSIBILITY OF FIRE.

Reason for recall

It has been identified that the possibility exists that the contacts in the cab wiring loom may oxidize and cause overheating of the connector block. In the worst case this may result in a fire.

Remedy

Recalled vehicles will have the suspect wires removed from the connector block. Theses will then be reconnected using heat shrink terminals.

How the manufacturer will repair

The Recalled vehicles will have the fixing checked and corrected as necessary by and official IVECO service.
