Reason for concern

BOLTS USED TO SECURE STEERING RACK TO FRONT AXLE MAY FAIL.

Reason for recall

The possibility exists that the bolts which secure the steering rack to the front axle may be of the incorrect grade 8.8 instead of R10. A situation which may result in failure of the bolts.

Remedy

The bolts of recalled vehicles will be checked for compliance with the specification and changed as necessary.
