STEERING MAY FAIL

Reason for recall

It has been identified that a number of vehicles may have left the assembly plant without a split pin in the track rod end securing nut. In this condition it is a possibility that the securing nuts may work loose.

Remedy

Recalled vehicles will be checked for the presence of the split pins and if theses are in place no additional work will be carried out. If the spilt pins are found to be missing the assembly will be dismantled and then re-torqued ensuring that the split pins are in place.
