FAULTY EARTH CABLE

Reason for recall

An interrupted earth cable can cause current to return to the battery through the steering shaft.

Remedy

Recalled vehicles will have the earth cable checked for damage and continuity of earth connections.Should any damage be found this will be repaired and the steering shaft renewed.
