Reason for recall

The Camshaft position sensor may overheat causing the engine management warning light to illuminate and in the worst case a localised thermal incident may occur

Remedy

Vehicles likely to be affected will be recalled and the sensor checked. If affected the sensor will be replaced with a quality assured unit and an in-line fuse added
