POSSIBILITY OF LOSS OF STEERING CONTROL

Reason for recall

The bearings which locate the support for the telescoping adjustment of the steering column may become displaced with possible loss of steering control if a securing clip is not fitted correctly.

Remedy

Likely to be affected vehicles will be recalled during which a check of the steering shaft will be made. Should the shaft be faulty it will be replaced.

Contact the local DAF dealership or manufacturer. You will not need to pay for anything involving the recall.

How the manufacturer will repair
