Reason for concern

SEAT HEATER MAY OVERHEAT AND CAUSE SMOULDERING.

Reason for recall

Ageing may cause the contact resistance of the seat heating to increase. In conjunction with the seat heating regulator installed this can lead to the seat overheating and smouldering in extreme cases.

Remedy

Fit a replacement seat heating regulator. Fit new seat cushion and back rest heating elements where necessary.
