Reason for concern

THE THROTTLE CONTROL BALL JOINT.

Reason for recall

The throttle control ball joint may break away from the fuel injection pump lever and cause the engine to jump to full revs.

Remedy

Recall affected vehicles and reposition the throttle linkage connections. Renew any worn throttle control ball joints.
