Possibility that the engine air filter element may be ignited by the ingress of burning material.

Recall the affected vehicles and fit a modified rain cap which will include a fine mesh spark guard to the air filter.

Contact the local MAN dealership or manufacturer. You will not need to pay for anything involving the recall.

The Recalled vehicles will have the fixing checked and corrected as necessary by and official MAN service.
