FAILURE OF PROPELLOR SHAFT

Reason for recall

Isolated instances of failure of the propellor shaft welding have occurred. (This campaign was launched to rework a batch of vehicles not included in Recall R1994/58).

Remedy

Recall the affected vehicles and replace the propeller shaft with a quality assured unit. Replacement shafts are distinguished by having the letter "S" stamped on a flange.
