CHAFING OF INJECTOR CABLE HARNESS

Reason for recall

The single point injector cable harness may chafe against the cylinder head. This could result in short circuiting and burning of the harness.

Remedy

Recall the affected vehicles and check the injector cable harness for indications of chafing making good where necessary before securing the harness to the throttle mechanism body.
