POSSIBLE LEAKAGE FROM FLEXIBLE FUEL PIPING

Reason for recall

The aluminium ferrules clamping the flexible fuel pipes on the pressure side of the injection system to their unions may deteriorate due to atmospheric conditions. In extreme cases this could allow fuel leakage with the possibility of an engine bay fire.

Remedy

Recall the affected vehicles and replace the original flexible fuel pipes with modified versions.
