TYRE DEFLATION MAY RESULT IN LOSS OF DIRECTIONAL CONTROL
It has been identified that the subject tyres have failed to comply with the requirements of 49CFR 571.139 S6.3.2 (a) in that the test tyre developed a bulge in the lower sidewall on the whitewall side which indicates the presence of a separation between the two lower sidewall components. Should this go undetected loss of inflation medium may occur which can result in a loss of directional control.
Owners of the recall subject tyres will be contacted; and the tyres replaced.
Contact the local COOPER dealership or manufacturer. You will not need to pay for anything involving the recall.
The Recalled vehicles will have the fixing checked and corrected as necessary by and official COOPER service.
