Reason for recall

It has been identified that the subject tyres have failed to comply with the requirements of 49CFR 571.139 S6.3.2 (a) in that the test tyre developed a bulge in the lower sidewall on the whitewall side which indicates the presence of a separation between the two lower sidewall components. Should this go undetected loss of inflation medium may occur which can result in a loss of directional control.

Remedy

Owners of the recall subject tyres will be contacted; and the tyres replaced.
