Reason for recall

It is possible for the rubber sealing boots which protect the tie rod ends from contamination and loss of lubricant to become dislodged from the joint resulting in rapid wear and possible separation. If the joint separates steering control will be lost.

Remedy

Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected and replace the four tie rod ends.
