Reason for recall

It has been identified that in certain cases it is possible that after the "quick release" as fitted to the front wheels of road and off-road bicycles has been locked into position the "quick release" axle could fail or break simultaneously. Should this occur the rider may lose control of the bicycle and injury might ensue.

Remedy

Subject bicycles will be recalled and have the "quick release" assembly replaced.
