In extreme circumstances it is possible that the upper shock absorber support can shear causing the vehicle to drop down suddenly at the rear and leading to a likely loss of control of the vehicle.

Remedy

Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected to fit a repair kit that supports the upper shock absorber mounting bracket.
