A potential problem has been identified with the harness adjustment system on some Britax Freeway and Mothercare Rally child car seats. This could mean that the occupant is not afforded full protection in emergency stop or accident situations.

Remedy

The manufacturer is advising purchasers of the problem via a press announcement and by notices at retailers. All affected seats will be replaced free of charge by the manufacturer on being contacted by the purchaser.
