Reason for recall

The high voltage battery system may have a faulty battery management system (BMS) or in extreme cases may exhibit internal damage to certain cells of the lithium-ion battery

Remedy

A software upgrade to the BMS inspection of lithium-ion battery data and if required replacement of a faulty battery module or complete battery assembly
