STEERING COLUMN UJ PINCH BOLT MAT NOT BE TIGHTENED TO CORRECT SPECIFICATION

Reason for recall

The steering column UJ pinch bolt may not have been tightened to the correct specification. Under heavy steering loads such as at low speeds movement between UJ and column is possible.

Remedy

Check the tightness the steering column bolt on affected vehicles. Where necessary tighten to correct torque.
